FOR PEOPLE IN PERPETUAL MOTION:
SOME TIPS ON HOW TO EAT AND RUN.

You are what you eat. And when you eat and run, chances are
your performance on the course will parallel your choices at the
dinner table.

The pursuit of the classic “well-balanced diet” makes sense for
everyone, whether you’re training hard or not. However, most
Americans need to limit their intake of fast foods, which are
generally high in unhealthy trans fats and empty calories, and
replace them whenever possible with fresh vegetables, fruits
and whole grain breads.

Most nutritionists agree that Americans can get most of their
necessary caloric, vitamin and mineral intake from their normal
diet. But if you’re the kind that finds themselves ordering from
a drive-through for a meal or two every day, you might want to
think about talking to your doctor or a nutritionist about some
healthier alternatives.

There are a lot of fast and easy choices you can make to improve
the quality of your dietary intake. Feel free to talk to some of the
people at Momentum for some quick tips. Or check out some of
the links on this page to some nutrition specialists who can get
you back on the right GI track.
